Did you miss me? Well, I'm not completely back yet. We're in Meridian Mississippi at some little Hotel because we wimped out on the "drive through the night so the baby will sleep" idea. We're on our way to John's family to visit for the weekend and see the new baby, Isabella, Jane's third. Then on Monday we will ACTUALLY go to Louisiana!!!!! This trip has been good, but long. Sadie has been the perfect RV traveler, she was in her seat most of the days and she hardly even cried. Of course, we did watch Baby Einstein and Lady and the Tramp (all doggies, wow!) at least 20 times a day. The 30 min a day rule for TV definately doesn't apply while RV travelling. The dogs also were perfect travelers. I even forgot to get the medicine for them to knock them out during the day, and they still travelled perfectly. Even Biscuit. Everything has gone well. It better have after the last couple of days in Calgary!
The DAY BEFORE we were to pick up the U-haul the LBC called to tell us that they've decided to change their policy and we were going to have to go with a moving company. Can we already see the problem? When I got estimates for moving companies I told them the date, but because we decided to u-haul I didn't confirm with any of them. We were blessed that one of the companies was very understanding and showed up the next day to start packing. God knew what he was doing, because even with other people packing us we still almost didn't get finished in time. I must say, it's nice to let someone else pack for you. And the next day the movers showed up and loaded it and my beautiful friends Mary and Ashley single-handedly cleaned our entire house while I was on the phone with the moving company about customs crap. Everything got done, the only problem was we were counting on the difference between the u-haul and the moving company to help us travel, so travelling money has been interesting. God has provided along the way, daily bread, eh? (I have to get a few more "ehs" in before they are completely gone from my vocabulary).
John says I have to stop blogging now so we can get on the road, but I cannot end without saying, could anyone have been more proud of our man Taylor Hicks? John and I picked him from the audition stage and we've followed him all the way through, it almost felt like the win was partly for us. And, can you imagine how good Taylor will feel when he watches a recording of the finals and sees David Hassellhof (THE Michael Knight) standing and crying for him? Seriously, he's my age so you KNOW he watched Knight Rider. I will be buying his CD one day, ah.
Okay, see ya later alligator.
Welcome to my little corner of the world. So glad you could stop by! I know that you are crazy busy and you don't have unlimited free time, so thanks for sharing a bit with me. I hope that you'll feel encouraged on your journey knowing you're not the only "different" one in the bunch! Make sure to subscribe, I would hate for you to miss one crazy minute!

On the road again...
I think one of my previous blogs has the same name, I must be running out of creativity. Well, the movers have come and gone (movers, not u-haul, lonnnnnnng storyyyyyyyy), and we are driving off into the sunset this evening. Supposed to be this morning but our brakes started squealing and we now have to get all new brakes for the truck that's $$$$$550.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, at least it happened before we were on the road right? We will be driving for about a week, but my Dad says that most of the RV parks we're stopping at will have free internet, so I'll be able to check the blog and my new email address (amyschaffner@email.com) every day or so. I'll write a longer one later about how awesome the entire Grad weekend was, but for now I must go. Blog again soon....

Should be sleeping..
Sadie's sleeping, I should be too. But considering I was in bed ALL DAY today, I'll type a little. I forgot the INTENSE feeling of being tired ALL THE TIME when your early pregnant. I honestly can't seem to do anything, and this is the worst time possible for that. But, thank God for my parents who are here and doing a wonderful job of taking care of me and Sadie. John comes home tomorrow, YAY!!!! Every time Sadie has hurt herself (newly trying to walk, so hurts herself alot) she has "dada dada dada" fits. And in the middle of the night she wakes up and cries for Daddy. It's so sad, crying with little da-dee da-dee, she misses him.
Anyway, I'm mentally preparing for lots of guests for the weekend, but haven't yet started to physically prepare. In-laws coming, really should clean the house. BBQ for 40 people on Saturday, really should make some sort of preparations. Leaving the country in a week, really should start packing. Are you worried yet? Me too.
John's having a great time in LA. He found us a house to rent YAYYAYAYAYY!!!!! He said it's "older and needs some TLC", it should be interesting to see the pics, but at this point I don't care! It's a roof over my head while I look for something to buy! We're so ready to be there and start our new life!
Anyway, I actually have nothing really to say, I just finally got to catch up on everybodies blog and wanted to say hello on mine.
Alana, you win! Your points will be deposited in the "Amy Games" bank and will be redeemable when I win the lottery.
