Hey guys. I'm in Arkansas. Un-planned trip because John's Dad is in the hospital. He got really sick on Sunday, so they brought him to Little Rock where they found a lemon-sized tumor in his pancreas. Today he had major surgery and PRAISE GOD they got all of the tumor out and it had not spread yet. Although, the doc told him he was 99% sure it was cancer, but usually pancreatic cancer means it's inoperable and a death-sentence. So, we are praising God that they could operate and remove it! He will be in the hospital for recovery for a few weeks, and then I believe he starts chemo. Keep this family in your prayers, the surgery was good, but he still has cancer. We have no idea how long we'll be in AR, but I only packed what I wore yesterday and today, so maybe I'll go shopping!
On another note, my son hasn't pooped in about 6 days. I'm worried and was just thinking of taking him to the doc when we made our midnight-run to AR. So, say a prayer that he poops, he's worrying me. I'm getting all kind of folk-remedy answers from people (sugar water, caro syrup, a q-tip up the rear, poor kid), but I'm not sure about any of them. I tried a little apple juice today, so hopefully it'll work out. Anyway, I'm sure you're concerned about my 3 month old's bowels. He farts alot, and it smells like an unclean port-a-potty.
